Annual Rolling for INDEPENDENCE

Memphis Center for Independent Living (MCIL) is excited to announce "Rolling for INDEPENDENCE". This fundraising event will highlight the bike lanes and recent development changes in the community.

This event offers an opportunity for wheelers and rollers of all types to join together for this family friendly celebration and thank MCIL for training, educating and advocating for accessible communities where everyone is welcome!

Rolling for INDEPENDENCE will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2014 beginning and ending at MCIL, 1633 Madison Ave (across from Cash Saver) lunch and awards at noon at MCIL.

The 20 mile roll begins at 9:30 am and the 2.5 mile Family Fun Roll at 10:00 am. Registration forms and information may be obtained at MCIL or visit the documents list on this site. Registration is only $10.00 per rider; $5 Under 12 per rider.  T-Shirts available for sale for $15.00.  Family of four or more $25.00 and group or team registration $75.00 for five or more riders. Entry Fee incudes Lunch (HELMETS ARE REQUIRED TO ROLL!)  NO PET's PLEASE - Service Animals Welcome, but must be prepared to scoop up after them! You may pay your registration fee through the Donations page on this site or through DONATE NOW button at or mail check to MCIL. We look forward to Rolling with you on Saturday, May 10. 2014 (Rain Date May 17th.

 Awards will be given to individual with highest total donations raised and to the Team with the Most Spirit! These awards are prize packages containing gift certificates from local restaurants and more valued at $150 or more!
